The Tools They Need
Boys learn practical tips on how to overcome obstacles and prepare for social emotional, and academic success. Additional modules include mental health basics, developing character, choosing healthy lifestyles, career explorations and financial success.
Expert Leadership
Mr. Joshua Dickerson is the facilitator for the workshop sessions. He is an author, poet, and public speaker who has won numerous awards including Dekalb County Teacher of the Year. He has created several programs to empower youth and has helped to create chess and robotic clubs at various programs in Atlanta. His poem “Cause I Ain’t Got a Pencil,” has sparked conversation around the world and has been shared and liked over a million times on social media.
